How to find prayer times for your location
Sign in to Happy Islam, open Prayer, and choose Enable location or enter your city. Check the place and date shown above the timetable before using its Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha times.
Use your device location
Select Enable location and allow the browser or app to access your location. Happy Islam uses the returned coordinates to request your prayer timetable. Your device may show coordinates rather than a city name; this does not mean the location request failed.
Browser location access requires a secure connection and your permission. Open happyislam.life directly if location access is unavailable in an embedded browser.
Enter a city instead
If you prefer not to share your device location, use the city field and submit your search. Check the returned city and country: different places can share the same name. A city search uses the coordinates of the matched place, not your precise position.
The chosen location is saved on this device. When you travel, use Change location and then Use my current location, or search for your new city. Do not assume the saved city follows you automatically.
If permission is denied or the place is wrong
- Allow location access for Happy Islam in your browser or device settings, then try again.
- Use city entry if the device cannot obtain your location.
- Check the displayed city, country and date; change or clear a saved location that is no longer correct.
- If a timetable does not load, check your internet connection before trying again.
Why your mosque's timetable may differ
Coordinates are only part of a prayer-time calculation. Calculation methods also affect the result, particularly Fajr and Isha. The current Happy Islam Prayer page requests AlAdhan's ISNA method (method 2); it does not currently offer a calculation-method selector.
Compare the timetable with your local mosque's published times and ask which method it follows. A difference is not necessarily a location error. For the signs behind each prayer window, read Islamic prayer times explained.
