What is Happy Islam?
Happy Islam is a free, ad-free Islamic companion app that combines Qur'an reading and audio, prayer times, qibla direction, live Islamic radio, a tasbih counter, the 99 Names of Allah, and a private reflection journal.
Is Happy Islam free?
Yes. All core features are free with no ads. An optional sign-in enables syncing bookmarks and private journal entries across devices.
Which languages does Happy Islam support?
Translations are available in English, Arabic, Urdu, Bengali, Hindi, Indonesian, Turkish, French, Spanish, Chinese, Persian, Twi, Hausa, Swahili and Portuguese, with more community translations in progress.
Is my journal private?
Yes. Journal entries are stored per user with row-level security and are never shared or used to train AI models.
Does Happy Islam work offline?
Yes. Happy Islam is a Progressive Web App with offline caching. Previously played audio and cached pages continue to work without a connection.
How does semantic search work on Happy Islam?
The search page at /search uses vector embeddings to match your question by meaning across the Qur'an, the 99 Names of Allah, and site pages, and cites the exact verse or passage each result came from.
Can other apps query Happy Islam search?
Yes. Happy Islam exposes a public JSON search endpoint at https://happyislam.life/api/public/search?q=YOUR_QUERY that returns semantic matches with citations to the source passage.
How do I report content or a bug?
Use the /report page inside the app or email request@aitwauthentica.com. Every report is reviewed by a human on the AITW Authentica team, typically within three business days.
How do I delete my account and data?
Sign in, open Settings → Data & privacy → Delete my account. This wipes bookmarks, journal, reading log, tafsir ratings, saved radio, preferences, and your auth record.
